French Bulldogs are known for their bat like ears and short stature. They originate from England. They are easygoing, not terribly athletic and brisk walks will keep them trim. Because they are a snub nose breed, they prefer air-conditioning in hot humid weather. If properly socialized they are good with children and other dogs. Their shedding is seasonal and need grooming on occasion. They respond well to training and do not bark a lot. Their weight should be kept to under 30 lbs and are usually 11-13 inches tall. They are one of the most popular breeds, especially in large cities because they do well in apartments.
